I've looked all over the place for cute emergent strategy cards and had no luck. So, I made them myself. Just click on the picture below to download/ print your own copy. Enjoy. N.

These are fabulous! Thank you!
ReplyDeleteThese are great! Love them! I've never made a request like this...but just wondering if there is a way you could send me the editable document - I would like to take the Kindergarten standard references off since I will be using most of them in a first grade classroom?
ReplyDeleteEither way, thanks for your super cute freebies. I'm your newest follower (stalker) on your blog, your shops, and Pinterest.
Have a blessed evening.

I don't mind emailing them at all! I'll have to do it tomorrow from school because I left my flash drive plugged into my school computer. LOL
DeleteLove these! I've downloaded them but am wondering if you could also pass the editable document? I want to include some of the transitional strategies as well but want them all to match (and I'd rather type them out then use my handwriting!). THANK YOU THANK YOU!

Done! Let me know if you have any problems. N
DeleteWow, this site is so helpful. This year I'll be teaching kindergarten for the first time. I've taught 2-4 in the past. Seeing all your wonderful ideas has been so great for gathering ideas and getting an idea for what I'm about to experience. Like the two before, would it be possible to have the editable version sent to me? We are working on phasing in common core (are these made for common core?) and I'd like to be able to edit some of the standard references. Also, you are probably still working on your classroom, but will you be posting post classroom pictures soon? I'm looking for ideas.
ReplyDeleteThanks,
Katrina

Yours was the first blog that popped up with just what I was looking for! How awesome! Thank you so much for sharing! I know it is busy this time of year but I read the comments and if I could also get an editable version, I would love to add to what you have made for my students. This is my first year to try Daily 5 and CAFE and I am super excited to see results! Hope you have a happy school year! Also, I'm your newest member! Your blog is really cute!

I'm really wanting to implement D5/CAFE this year with my K-3 ESL students. I did D5 for the first time with my 2nd graders last year and enjoyed it. I notice this is the Emergent, would I not be able to use these with Firsties? I gather 2nd/3rd would be very different. If it is no trouble, I would like an editable version as well. jessika . stanton @ gmail . com
ReplyDeletethanks!

ReplyDeleteI would also love to have an editable version of the cards. I'm an ESOL teacher and am always looking for visual resources. ebtblue@gmail.com
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing these strategies from the Kindergarten CAFE menu! I did notice for the A for accuracy strategies that you had one missing ("orally match words that end with the same sound"). Is there a way that you can add that strategy?
ReplyDeleteTHANK YOU for creating and for sharing! It looks fabulous!
Wow, tons of people have looked at these cards but no one has admitted to finding a mistake! :-) Thank you! I'll get it fixed tomorrow at school and update the file. Thanks for stopping by my blog!

Thanks so much for sharing the cards. Would it be possible to get a editable version? We would like to edit them to fit our curriculum. If you are willing to share would you please send it to my school email, amerkel@min201.org
DeleteI love your Emergent Menu Strategy Cards that you created especially the clip art that you included with each strategy. Would it be possible to get an edited copy so that I can add the words I can... Our district is using learning targets and for kindergarten we are stating each target as an I can statment. If you send me the editable version I would send the cards back to you with the I can... added to them. If you are willing to share you can send them to rpolson8@gmail.com
